Instructions for full text search and search options
The full text search can handle one, two or three notions. If you don't specify any operator, the search function finds all pages that contain all entered notions. To exclude some of the search results you can use the Boolean operators like in these examples:
human rights
human and rights
human + rights
(for pages containing "human" and "rights")
human not rights
human - rights
human -rights
(for pages containing "human" but not "rights")
"human rights" "teacher training" -inservice
(for pages containing "human rights" and "teacher training" but not "inservice")
On the search options pages you can combine the search for text (you can as well leave the field empty) and the grouping into categories. You can choose one or several options out of all the fields. Just press the [Ctrl] or [Apple] button on the keyboard while choosing more than one option by clicking on them.
